Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani delivered one of the biggest hits of the year in Baaghi 2 and together they have been preparing for the shooting of Baaghi 3. Riding high on the film’s success, the couple has apparently hiked their endorsement fee. It has been heard that when a cooking oil brand approached the duo for a joint endorsement deal, the lovebirds quoted a cool Rs 5 crore for their remuneration.
A source reveals, “The marketing team of a renowned oil brand wanted to position their product as the choice of fitness enthusiasts. Disha and Tiger seemed to be a perfect fit as brand ambassadors since the two are known to be health freaks. Considering they haven’t featured in a commercial together, the team felt the ad would have the novelty factor. When the team approached them, the duo asked for Rs 5 crore as the fee. Given their popularity among the youth, the brand officials agreed to cough up the amount. Though Tiger and Disha are yet to sign on the dotted line, the conversation is at an advanced stage.”
Shroff and Patani are the latest to jump on to this trend of couples endorsing products together. Among the others are Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, appeared for Manyavar commercial together. Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had reportedly raked in Rs 30 crore for a kitchenware brand ad.
